Our organization offered all interested parties a platform for self-expression by providing everyone with a space for presentation and discussion through photography, in order to celebrate personal observations, passions, topics, and forgotten or unknown events in the world. Any photo that can demonstrate or document knowledge was welcomed in order to raise awareness of a topic.
We launched our official WPH website (worldphotohistory.org) to raise awareness of the organization and provide amateur photographers with an online presence and began a cooperation with Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, Blücherplatz 110961, Berlin as part of the SoAGB events (https://www.zlb.de/soagb)
We organized a hike, followed by a picnic, from Berlin to Potsdam.
On October 30, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., we held our first workshop on the topic: WPH & ERÖFFNUNGSPROJEKT: BUS & BAHN IN BERLIN (WPH & OPENING PROJECT: BUS & TRAIN IN BERLIN) at Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, Blücherplatz 110961, Berlin as part of the SoAGB events (https://www.zlb.de/soagb).
On January 29, 2023, the event WPH & Tierisch exotisch: in der Fauna & zu Hause (WPH & Exotic Animals: In the Fauna & at Home) took place at Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, Blücherplatz 110961, Berlin as part of the SoAGB events (https://www.zlb.de/soagb).
On July 9, 2023, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. a WPH member presented the topic: WPH n.e.V.– KULTURFORUM: Fotografische Meta-Komposition (WPH n.e.V. – CULTURAL FORUM: Photographic meta-composition) at Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, Blücherplatz 110961, Berlin as part of the SoAGB events (https://www.zlb.de/soagb).
Since 2023
From 2023 to 2025, we restructured and optimized the WPH-objectives and statute, and translated our website into English in order to make it known and accessible to a wider audience.
A short summary of our currently statute is that we specialize in hobby photography and support hobby photographers in various ways through our activities. Furthermore we now offer workshops, individual consultations, forum discussions, and more, both in person and online.

We are starting a new collaboration with So AGB to organize new Workshops in our section WPH Workshops - Hobby Photography Atelier for Hobby Photographers.
We are organizing, in cooperation with Amerika-Gedenkbibliothek, Blücherplatz 110961, Berlin as part of the SoAGB events (https://www.zlb.de/soagb) a first Workshop of our section WPH Workshops - Hobby Photography Atelier that will take place once in a year, usually around the middle of march.
