Description or comment to the WPH Photo of the YearThe photo was taken in Berlin on May 12, 2025 by the WPH-Team. The picture shows a gray heron that has stung a large fish after about 30 minutes of lurking. Grey herons have a body length of 90-98 cm and can live up to 25 years.
